Scarlett Johansson rose to fame with her role in 1998's The Horse Whisperer and subsequently gained critical acclaim for her roles in Ghost World, Lost in Translation and The Girl with a Pearl Earring, the latter two earning her Golden Globe Award nominations in 2003. Other film credits includes The Island aside Ewan McGregor and The Other Boleyn Girl with Natalie Portman. On May 20, 2008, Johansson debuted as a vocalist on her first album, Anywhere I Lay My Head, with cover versions of Tom Waits songs.
